Her knowledge and background in dance and performance help guide her treatment approach, ensuring each client receives specialised care tailored to their unique needs.






What's Monique been up to?

Monique has an extensive background in sports and movement-related injuries.


Her career began with a strong focus on sports physiotherapy, where she worked with a variety of professional athletes and sports teams.


Working in private practice, she gathered experience working with diverse clientele including:


  • Dance Professionals:  Ballet, Contemporary, Street, Samba, and more
  • Musicians: Understanding the specific postural and performance demands of their instrument use
  • Sports Professionals:
  • Recreational

as well as general pre/post op cases and a variety of MSK presentations across age groups



She has a keen interest to work more in the performing arts sector







Rock It With Rho Entertainment Company

(2021-Current)

 providing mobile physiotherapy and sports massage appointments to carnival performers

weekly in-house Matwork Pilates sessions, both on a 1:1 basis and through online classes

This blend of physiotherapy and Pilates helps clients improve their strength, flexibility, and overall movement quality.


Previous Experience

Before focusing on performers, Monique honed her skills working with football teams, including:


  • AFC Wimbledon Ladies FC: Here, she provided tailored physiotherapy services to address their specific injury prevention and recovery needs.


  • Ytterhogdal Football Club: Monique managed and treated sports injuries for professional football players, enhancing their performance and aiding their recovery through specialized care.


  • Buckinghamshire New University Dance Injury Clinic - treating and aiding risk reduction for dance-related injuries.


Her background in dance allows her to understand the unique challenges dancers face and to develop effective treatment plans that keep them performing at their best.
